Saturday, May 17 | 3:00 PM | Plac Wolności, Wrocław
77 years ago, on May 15, 1948, the Nakba began – a planned ethnic cleansing during which hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were expelled from their homes. Today, in 2025, their descendants are being murdered in the besieged Gaza Strip.
This is not history – this is reality. The Nakba never ended. What we see today is a more brutal and more unpunished genocide than ever before. Tens of thousands killed, mass graves, children burned alive in so-called “safe zones,” entire neighborhoods wiped off the map.
This is not a “conflict.” It is a colonial policy of extermination, allowed to continue by the world. Israeli bombs fall with the full awareness of the international community. Silence and inaction are complicity.
The march on May 17 is not a request. It is rage and a demand:
- for the immediate end to the genocide,
- for an end to the occupation and apartheid,
- for the prosecution of war criminals,
- for the recognition of the right of return and self-determination of Palestinians.
“The Nakba of 1948 happened once. Today’s Nakba happens every day. It’s not an event – it’s a continuous hell. But if 1948 couldn’t erase us, 2025 won’t either.” – Huda Skaik, journalist from Gaza
Join us on Saturday, May 17, at 3:00 PM at Plac Wolności in Wrocław. Let’s stand together against genocide and colonialism.
