At Nomada, we support individuals experiencing gender-based violence—whether psychological, physical, sexual, or economic—as well as domestic violence, which can combine all of the above forms of abuse. We speak Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, and English. We also have the support of Spanish and Arabic interpreters.

The Nomadas’s Counseling Center offers free support, which includes:
- Counseling – We will listen to your story, and if you wish, help you develop an “exit plan.” You’ll receive a full package of information and possible courses of action so you can make the best decision for yourself.
- Legal advice.
- Crisis psychological support.
- Access to temporary shelter and assistance in securing a place at a crisis intervention center.
- Support in accessing medical examinations and testing for sexually transmitted diseases.
- Access to safe abortion.
- Assistance in reporting violence to the police or prosecutor’s office.

We have developed internal procedures, aligned with international standards, for managing situations where clients report violence to Nomada.
We have established pathways to refer our clients to specialized entities, including the Women’s Rights Center, crisis intervention centers, the municipal health department, and local organizations supporting survivors of gender-based violence.
We engage in responsible collaboration with public institutions to provide comprehensive support for our clients.
We colaborate with experts who have knowledge and experience in the area of wartime sexual and gender-based violence.
We train and provide professional development for local institution staff, NGO workers, and activists.
We support initiatives that help survivors pursue justice in international courts.
