Nomada’s ducational activities focus on countering discrimination, bias-motivated violence, and supporting children and youth with migration experience. We offer, among other things, anti-discrimination and integration workshops, as well as those on the protection of human rights. We implement projects aimed at children, youth, and adults.
Since 2011, we have focused on supporting and monitoring the educational process of Roma children from Romania living in Wrocław. Thanks to the consistent efforts of many people, in 2014, for the first time, children from this community began attending formal education. Educators from Nomada conducted integration and remedial classes tailored to the needs of the children.
We conduct workshops with children and young people, train educators, representatives of offices and public institutions, various professional groups, and NGOs.
We strive to build relationships between new residents and the host community, ensuring their voices are heard.
We run “POBO Community Spot,” an open space for meetings and educational activities.
