Today at 10:00 AM at the District Court in Białystok, the third hearing will take place in the trial against individuals providing humanitarian aid on the Polish-Belarusian border.
The website of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Białystok has published a document containing evidentiary motions allegedly incriminating the accused – individuals involved in saving the lives and health of migrants.
We encourage you to read the post by lawyer Kamil Syller, who has been engaged in humanitarian aid at the border for years. Point by point, he exposes the weaknesses of the indictment and shows how humanity itself is being put on trial. You can find the link in the comment under this post.

This case is not only about the fate of “the five.” It’s a test – whether humanitarian aid in Poland will be treated as a crime.
Among the organizations that have joined the case are:
The Association for Legal Intervention, the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights, the Free Courts Foundation, and the National Bar Council.
The Nomada Association has also expressed solidarity with the accused by submitting an amicus curiae brief. In it, we point out that:
“A possible conviction of the accused may be a sign of repression and a tool to deter others from providing life-saving aid to people who have crossed the border.”
We also warn against the dangerous interpretation that considers… offering water or shelter from hypothermia as a form of personal gain.
We stand with #h5 – in court and beyond.
Against punishing solidarity.
