On Saturday, we had the extraordinary opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage of Cameroon while hosting the local community at POBO Community Spot. Participants were able to immerse themselves in fascinating traditions, history, and discover the flavors of Cameroonian cuisine.
An engaging panel discussion provided a deeper understanding of the social and political dynamics as well as the process of identity formation among Cameroonians in light of international circumstances.
Dancing together to traditional dances from various regions of Cameroon was a unique chance to experience the warmth and authenticity of this vibrant culture.The Cameroonian Culture Day was made possible thanks to financial support from UNHCR as part of the project “Pathways to empowerment. Accessing rights, inclusion, empowerment and strengthening resilience of refugees.” The project is operated by the Polish Migration Forum Foundation.
