The Mayor of Wrocław has appointed the Wrocław Council for Equal Treatment for another term. The council’s goal is to promote the principles of equality and counteract discrimination in our city.
We are proud to announce that one of the members of the Council is Dr. Magdalena Nazimek – an advocacy specialist at the Nomada Association and the Migration Consortium.
Dr. Nazimek emphasizes the importance of a strategic approach to the Council’s activities:
“We are about to set the strategic directions for the Council’s work. Following the inaugural meeting, the accessibility of information and public services for migrants in Wrocław emerges as a priority.”
The Wrocław Council for Equal Treatment will serve as an advisory and consultative body, supporting the development of equality policies and actions to counteract all forms of discrimination at the local level. We are pleased that the Council includes individuals representing diverse communities of Wrocław, including migrant organizations that are part of the Wrocław Sectoral Group on Migration and Culturally Diverse Society.
