At the beginning of 2025, changes occurred in the composition of the Management Board of the Nomada Association. We would like to thank the previous members of the Board for their contribution to the development of the organization:
🔸 Dr. Ewa Jupowiecka, a cultural studies expert and trainer in anti-discrimination and intercultural education, served as the President of the Board for many years. As a member of the Association since its inception, she played a key role in shaping Nomada’s mission.
🔸 Michał Brokos, a social activist, supported the organization in logistics, management, and implementation of internal procedures as a member of the Board.
We thank Ewa and Michał for their dedication and wish them success in their future professional and personal endeavors.
As of January 2025, the Nomada Association’s Management Board operates in a new composition:
🔸 Karolina Nina Ptak, President of the Board and specialist in gender-based violence, is responsible for the implementation of the organization’s strategy and mission.
🔸 Magdalena Bera, Vice President of the Board, cultural studies expert, and trainer, has been associated with Nomada since 2022. She is responsible for strengthening the team and creating a supportive work environment.
🔸 Filip Rakoczy, Member of the Board, legal advisor, and lecturer, has been collaborating with Nomada since 2018. Filip supports the organization’s work in human rights protection and provides legal assistance to migrants.
🎉 We wish the new Board success in continuing the Association’s mission to support migrants and protect human rights.
