POBO Community Spot is a space for grassroots initiatives, created by people – us and you.
It is an open space for integration, meetings, grassroots activities, original events, informal education for children, and a haven of respite for those who need it.
POBO recently needed a bit of refreshing, tidying up, and cleaning. And we did it together. As a big team, we took care of our shared space.
Among those who joined the cleanup were people from Fundacja Queerpol, SolidarnościówkiWro, Ostatnie Pokolenie, and the anarchist movement.
It was wonderful to bustle around to the music, get to know each other, and exchange thoughts. Organizing books on the shelf together has a unique power to bring people closer.
Gabrysia says that “the cleanup was truly an opportunity to see and feel that POBO is a shared space, that the local community can have an impact on it, and that POBO needs support and collaboration.”
Thank you to everyone who put their energy into this collective cleanup. POBO is now more beautiful and better suited to the needs of those who use it.
