On March 21, we observe the day of the fight against racism

Hi, it’s March 21, and spring began yesterday. On March 21, we observe the day of the fight against racism.

For us at Nomada, this is not just a regular calendar event. We fight racism every day. Primarily, through supporting those exposed to and harmed by prejudice-motivated violence or xenophobic violence, which unfortunately affects many of our clients—migrants, refugees, queer individuals, and people from minority groups.

From our side, we offer support, such as first direct mental support. We can also assist in reporting to the police. We also offer legal care and psychological help. For those who would like to learn how to respond to prejudice-motivated violence, we have special training prepared.

I encourage you to read more about prejudice-motivated violence and reach out to us.

Remember, above all, react when you see violence happening to someone else. Your response can stop the perpetrators, and the person being attacked will feel safe and, most importantly, feel that they are not alone.
