What is bias-motivated violence?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Bias-motivated violence refers to violence directed at specific individuals, groups of people, or their property based on the actual or perceived membership of the targeted person to a group that the perpetrator dislikes, holds prejudices against, or hates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • spitting, slapping, humiliation,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • destruction of property,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • vandalism or arson,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • intimidation or threats,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • insults or gestures,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • attacks in written form (letters, leaflets, posters, graffiti),<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • insulting religious feelings,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • psychological or emotional abuse,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • assault, murder.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Reporting bias-motivated violence:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It\u2019s important to report any type of prejudice-motivated violence, whether you are the victim or a witness to such an event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    At the moment of the event: Call for help by dialing 112.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Provide the location of the event, information about the people involved, and the type of assistance needed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
